Invisible Trail Merino Collection
Frequently Asked Questions - Invisible Trail
Materials & Ethical Sourcing
High-performance gear with a positive footprint.
Merino is nature’s ultimate high-performance fiber. It thermoregulates, wicks sweat, and naturally resists odor for days. We put the Invisible Merino Trail Collection to the ultimate test through 120km+ self-supported races—it consistently outperforms synthetics in both long-distance comfort and durability.
All our gear is Woolmark certified and follows the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS). This guarantees the humane treatment of sheep (no mulesing) and sustainable land management practices.
Transparency is part of our DNA. We produce in small batches to minimize overproduction:
- Merino T-Shirts: Crafted by a team of 56 skilled workers in an ethical, audited environment in China.
- Merino Socks (Standard & 5-Toe): Crafted in small batches by skilled workers in an ethical, audited environment in China.
Performance & Fit
- Odor Control: Naturally antimicrobial; stays fresh for multi-day efforts.
- Thermoregulation: Keeps you cool on the climb and warm at the summit.
- Moisture Management: Our merino socks feature targeted "Breathe Zones" (mesh upper) for maximum ventilation.
While both provide the benefits of Merino Wool, 5-Toe socks offer:
- Blister Prevention: Wrapping each toe individually eliminates the skin-on-skin friction that causes blisters.
- Natural Alignment: Allows for "Total Toe Splay," providing better balance and a more powerful push-off on technical terrain.
All items are unisex.
- Socks: Refer to our size chart based on EU shoe size. They fit true to size.
- Tees: Use our chest measurement guide for the best performance fit.
Care & Longevity
- Wash Less: Merino requires less frequent washing due to its antibacterial nature—save water and your gear!
- Method: Machine wash cold, inside out. Wash with like colors.
- Strictly Avoid: No bleach, No Tumble Drying (drip dry only), and no dry cleaning.
To get the most miles out of your socks, keep your toenails neatly trimmed. Our precision-fit toe sleeves wrap closely around each digit, meaning sharp or long nails can act like tiny blades against the yarn. A quick trim prevents premature holes and keeps your gear trail-ready.
If you notice a bit of "fluff" or small fiber balls after your first few runs—don’t sweat it. High-quality, long-staple Merino wool naturally sheds a few loose surface fibers during its initial "break-in" phase. This is purely cosmetic and won't compromise the sock’s structural integrity or performance.
